No. Sci Keys is a fully standalone plugin. Just install and load it in your DAW — nothing else required. Works as VST3, AU..
Do I need a MIDI keyboard to use it? +
No. But if you have one, your MIDI will feel alive in a completely different way. Sci Keys responds beautifully to real playing. That said, you can use it fully inside your DAW with a mouse or piano roll. No keyboard required.
What genre is Sci Keys made for? +
