URBAN SAMPLES – Chapter I

A collection of 162 real sounds recorded in real environments. Urban Samples is a diverse project that captures the effect of space in every sample. Classic & electric guitar jams, bouzouki melodies and a vast variety of foleys from nature and every day city sounds recorded out of the studio. In this project we managed to exploit to the fullest the acoustics of an impressive house where we recorded all the instrumental loops & the rawness of its surroundings where the foleys were captured.

The nature of Urban Samples is so unique and different that doesn’t fall into the category of bpm labelled kind of project. Every sound is recorded on the spot with complex rhythms (like 6/8 or 3/4)  to trigger your creativity & add the secret ingredient.
